Payroll tax calendar of the day:  Monthly deposits are due May 15th.  If you are making the deposit by  phone and forget to prepare the breakdown of FICA, Medicare, and Federal Withholding before making the call, don’t worry.  There is no need to hang up, figure the breakdown, and call back.  The breakdown info is optional.  Just stay on the line after the request; after a few seconds you will get a prompt where you can choose to skip the breakdown.
