Payroll tax calendar of the day: Monthly deposits for June are due July 16th. If depositing federal taxes using EFTPS don’t forget that the payments must be made by 8pm Eastern time the day before the due date.
In May I took a guided nature walk at Beaver Island State Park. While I had been to the beach at Beaver Island, this was the first time I checked out any of the nature trails. We saw the wetland area which you may not have discovered if your visits stayed in the picnic or beach areas. This area is being restored to its natural topography before changes were made back in the 30’s. In spite of the renovation work going on there, there was still interesting water fowl to see.

Beaver Island also has some great nature trails to check out wildflowers, birds, and other wild life. This interesting tree was on one of the trails.
