Payroll tax calendar of the day: Quarterly returns due tomorrow, July 31st.
Thursday at 5 pm kicks off the 49th annual Eden Corn Festival. It’s time to again enjoy all the food, entertainment, food, midway rides, food, exhibits, and did I mention the food? Chicken BBQ, BBQ Ribs, all varieties of carnival food, and the festival’s highlight, Corn!
Corn Festival this weekend
Back again this year is the Eden Agriculture Exhibit including many photos showcasing local farming operations and a 50-inch plasma screen TV showing digital photos and videos.
Sunday has the popular car show and parade. The craft show will be all four days this year, not just Saturday and Sunday as in the past.

Friday: 12 – Midnight
Saturday: 11 – Midnight
Sunday 11 – 10
Sunday’s parade starts at noon.
