An extra blog today to pass along some good news and some bad news. First the bad news.
I few days ago I reported that the craft show at the Eden Corn Festival would be all four days this year. The craft show link at their website does still say four days and gives a schedule for Thursday through Sunday.
Yesterday I attended the Corn Festival and the craft show was not there; better plan your visit for Saturday or Sunday if you would like to see it.

While attending the Corn Festival, check out the chocolate chip bacon cookies. It doesn’t sound like they go together, but they’re a nice salty & sweet combo. The stand is on the right side of the main midway as you walk in from Rt. 62. If they aren’t too busy ask the owner how he bakes the cookies; he’ll enjoy telling you about them.
Now for the good news: the Fair Train arrived yesterday!!! If you’re like me, every time you have errands to do in Hamburg, you’ll drive past the fairgrounds to see how the ride construction is progressing.
