Tax calendar of the day:  Monthly deposits for August will be due on Monday, Sept. 17th.

Today is the last day  7 Eleven is offering free Slurpee samples at the Fair.  The samples are located in Baker Park inside of Gate 1.

Remember when the fair had a big tent for all the craft vendors on 42nd Street?  Then they built a new building in that spot and moved the craft vendors to the Bazaar Building.  Then the Casino was built under the Grandstand.  The merchants who had been selling under the Grandstand moved to the Bazaar Building and the craft vendors were moved to the lawn area next to Creative Arts.  A few years later, they were moved to the area near Slade Park.  Then they were moved to their current location on the side of the Historical Building.

This is kind off a less traveled area on the right side of the building, across the street from the horse barns.  Be sure to not to miss checking them out.
