As I eagerly entered the Food Building at the CNE, I was anticipating what exciting taste treat I could have for lunch. Then devastation; Acme Cheesecake wasn’t there! They’ve been in the Food Building for years and had a great variety of cheesecakes (like orange chocolate) and numerous other cakes and pies (like their Bunny Bait carrot cake).
I did manage to make do with some of the building’s other delicious offerings, but I miss you Acme Cheesecake!
The Food Building is a fan favorite!
The Canadian National Exhibition is open through Labor Day. If you go on Monday, they have reduced hours; the gates close at 5.
