Payroll tax calendar of the day: Monthly deposits for September are due October 15th. Sales taxes for the June – August quarter are due September 20th.
The Monarch butterflies are currently on their southerly migration to their winter home in Mexico. A great spot to see them while they are en route is Evangola State Park.

A few days ago I was there and saw numerous Monarchs; If you are going to be in the area of the park this week, stop by and see them while they are migrating through.

A great place to see them is the picnic area to the left (while facing the lake) of the parking lot. Check out the trees at the back of the picnic area near the grassy path.
