Payroll tax calendar of the day:  Monthly deposits for May are due June 17th.

The Rochester Lilac Festival runs through Sunday, May 19th,  so you still have some time to get there.   The lilacs are in full blossom right now; the weather timed them perfectly for the festival.  The lilacs aren’t all there is to see however.   With the late spring there are numerous other flowering tress blooming right now.

The late spring also means that the tulip beds next to the conservatory haven’t fizzled out yet as they have in previous years.  Only a few are gone; most of them are at their peak and in brilliant color.

Be sure to check out the tulips as well as the lilacs.
