Payroll tax calendar of the day:  monthly deposits for May taxes are due June 17th.   Quarterly sales tax returns are due June 20th.

This is the time of year to enjoy home-grown products; the Hamburg and Blasdell Farmers Markets have been open for the season since early May and have many fine items to try.  It’s a great opportunity to support local growers; this year’s market features many fine foods, produce and flowers.  Check the following link for a complete list of products as well as hours.

The Hamburg market is open every Saturday, and the Blasdell market (which also features craft items) is open every Wednesday thru the first week of November.  Available products change with the seasons, so each week brings a new mix.  Be sure the check them out often.
