Have you never been sure how to identify poison ivy?  Now you have a chance to learn.  From 6 – 8 p.m., on Friday July 12th, Evangola State Park will host a presentation on the itchy weed.

“You’re going to need an ocean, of calamine lotion!” Learn to identify this itch producing member of the Cashew family. Poison Ivy has its place as an important food plant for wildlife. Trail topics will include ways to organically remove poison ivy from pathways and gardens along with some traditional Native American remedies.  For information & registration call (716)549-1050.
